Spanish Version - Notice of Client's Right to Arbitration (This form is not the official Notice of Client’s Right to Arbitration form required by statute.  It is offered as a convenience for Spanish speaking individuals for whom English may not be their first language.  Attorneys may provide this form for assistance but must complete and deliver the approved English version Notice form to satisfy the statutory requirement of notice to the client of the right to mandatory fee arbitration.)

• Attorney's Reply to Client's Request for Arbitration Under the new "Rules of Procedure" approved August 2005 the respondent party's reply to the "Client's Request for Arbitration" shall be submitted to the Program  within 30 days using this approved form, unless an extension of time to reply is obtained from the Program.

• Mediator/Arbitrator Volunteer Application
  If you would like to volunteer to be a mediator and/or arbitrator for the Fee Mediation/Arbitration Program please fill-out our volunteer application form. (Adobe Acrobat 8 format). Print it out and mail it to:  CCCBA, Attn: Fee Arbitration Coordinator, 704 Main St., Martinez, CA  94553; or save it as a file on your computer and then email it  to eday@cccba.org as an attachment. 
   
  

  • To qualify as an attorney fee arbitrator you must have been admitted to the practice of law a minimum of 3 years and be in current good standing with the State Bar of California; and once every 5 years attend a Mandatory Fee Arbitrator training program or complete the on-line CCCBA Fee Arbitrator Training Self-Study program for which you will receive 3 MCLE hours (includes .50 hour legal ethics).
    
    The self-study program is divided into 3 parts.  You must complete all three in order to meet the qualification requirement.

    Note:  Save the tests to your computer documents.  Then open the test form in your document file; fill it out and save it adding your last name to the file name. Email the completed tests as attachments to eday@cccba.org; or print them out and mail them.
