Our section focuses on and acknowledges that new business growth is vital to our community. While our section members represent businesses that will grow into public companies, the majority of our members work with private Contra Costa businesses and, more importantly, that will remain local. Our section includes lawyers who support our civic infrastructure and provide needs for all the legal services that our bar association offers. The section will continue to meet on a monthly basis with a guest speaker talking on a topic of current relevance to the section. Annual membership is $20.00. Affiliates not allowed. DISCUSSION FORUM A list-serv discussion group has been formed for the use of our section and for other CCCBA members, whether or not you join the section, to place business law related question and hopefully receive multiple replies. To subscribe to the list-serv, simply send an email to cccba_business_section@cccba.org . The email must be in plain text (you have to turn off HTML). The body of the email should simply state "subscribe cccba_business_section" without any signature line. EMAIL NEWSLETTER We will soon be launching an email newsletter to help educate our section on current issues.
